Note: In order to use this functionality, you must have at least one job saved, and the job(s) to be loaded must be saved with a numerical prefix of 0 to 127 (e.g., 1PinInspection.job).
1.Place the vision system Offline.
2.Select an input Line to configure, and set the Signal Type to Job Load Switch. The job file that is loaded is indicated by the state (0 or 1) of any other input Lines set to Job ID Number.
3.Set at least one other input Line’s Signal Type to Job ID Number.
4.An input set to Job ID Number represents one bit of a binary number. Subsequent line inputs set to Job ID Number represent additional bits of the binary number. The complete binary number represents the numeric prefix (decimal #) of a job file saved in the following format: #jobfilename.job.
5.Place the vision system Online. Review the In-Sight® Explorer Help file for more information on Discrete I/O settings.
– Use In-Sight Explorer version 2.71 through version 3.4.2.
– The highest supported firmware version is 2.71 PR1.
– It works only on Windows XP and Windows 2000. Windows Vista and Windows 7 are not supported.
This is because the cell containing the exposure value is itself triggered by the A0 cell, which contains the Exposure setting. To correct this, trigger the exposure value cell with a different event such as a Discrete Input or a Soft Event, referenced as a Cell State Condition cell.
Which I/O module and vision system do you have?
CIO-1400 I/O Module are supported with In-Sight 5000 series vision systems (except the In-Sight 5604).
CIO-MICRO and CIO-MICRO-CC I/O Modules are supported with the 5100 and 5400 series, 5600 series, 7000 series and In-Sight Micro series vision systems.
Note: The CIO-MICRO and CIO-MICRO-CC I/O modules only support In-Sight 5100 series and 5400 series vision systems with 128MB non-volatile flash memory or higher. Models can be identified by the Type number (821-xxxx-xx). The Type number is located on the label affixed to the vision system.
CIO-1450 I/O Module are supported with In-Sight 5000 series vision systems (except the In-Sight 5604).
CIO-1460 I/O Module are supported with In-Sight 5000 series vision systems (except the In-Sight 5604 and 5605).
CIO-WENET are supported with the In-Sight Micro series vision systems.
Note: The CIO-1450, CIO-1460 and CIO-WENET I/O modules are obsolete and no longer available for purchase, however these modules are still supported within In-Sight Explorer for backward compatibility only.
For non-color models with the C-Mount lens configuration, use In-Sight Explorer and firmware version 4.7.1, through the most current software and firmware versions.
For non-color models with the integrated M12 lens and light configuration, use In-Sight Explorer and firmware version 4.7.3, through the most current software and firmware versions.
For color models, use In-Sight Explorer and firmware version 4.8.0, through the most current software and firmware versions.
